LineForge does not take a percentage or per-order commission from restaurant orders. Your direct ordering channel connects guests with your restaurant, while the software arrangement stays separate from the value of each order.
What “0% commission” covers
| Cost category | How to compare it |
|---|---|
| LineForge order commission | No percentage or per-order LineForge commission. |
| Software subscription | Compare the recurring plan, locations and selected modules in your proposal. |
| Setup and training | Confirm any agreed one-time implementation or service costs. |
| Payment processing | Check the processor agreement, transaction rates and relevant account charges. |
| Delivery | Include provider charges or the cost of running your own driver operation. |
| Hardware and other tools | Include equipment, replacement costs and any tools still needed. |
Direct orders and marketplace orders serve different purposes
A marketplace may help a diner discover a restaurant. Your direct ordering site is a destination for guests who reach you through your website, a recommendation or your own marketing. Replacing software does not automatically move marketplace demand to your direct channel.
Compare costs for the orders you reasonably expect to receive directly. Give returning guests a clear ordering link and a reliable experience, then measure how the channel develops.
Compare total cost using your own numbers
Use recent invoices, your average order value and comparable order volume. Include fixed software charges, per-order charges, processing, delivery and setup. Our restaurant ordering cost calculator keeps gross commission avoided separate from the difference in the costs you enter.

Questions worth asking any provider
- Is there a fixed fee, percentage, per-order charge or combination?
- Which fees are paid by the restaurant, and which are passed to guests?
- What setup, training and support are included?
- What happens to existing orders and data when you change providers?
- Which delivery and payment costs remain outside the subscription?
